I’m sorry to say that All Knit Up is closed for the foreseeable future. I’ve been having constant trouble with bursitis in my right shoulder, and it’s making it impossible to knit. Feel free to keep the RSS feed in your readers, I will of course update the site if anything changes (like universal health care in the US so I can get treatment).
In the meantime, make lots of little monsters on your own! The pattern for the basic bear is available in 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders. I’d love to see some creative interpretations from all you knitters out there!
For those of you who are members at Ravelry, I finally figured out how to upload patterns for sale there! Aragog the Spider Monster is now available for download!

Abraham the Turtle is now available in the shop! He’s got the softest shell around!

I’ve added new monsters to the shop, and I think they are some of the cutest yet! First meet Emmett the Elephant:

Here’s Olly the Pig:

Arthur and Molly Bunny:

and last but not least, Pearl the Dino:

They can all be found at the Etsy Store.
I just finished uploading a new batch of monsters to the shop! Check them out here:
all knit up at etsy!
You’ll find Tux the Penguin, Alfred the Cat, Jenny the Bear, Bobby the Bunny, James the Squid, and two little birdies named Bonnie and Martha. Catch them fast before they’re gone!
coming soon to all knit up!

i’m really happy with how these guys felted. the little set of bunny sisters is too cute. the tinier the better! i’ve yet to decide what color to do the eyes on the heart one, and the bunnies. once i get that figured out i’ll get the eyes done. i’m working on my photo display too. that’s the only thing holding back the listing of the monsters i’ve done in the past few weeks. it’ll be soon, i promise!
i’m back from maternity leave, and i brought a whole mess of monsters with me!

if you see someone you like, feel free to contact me. these will all be going up in the etsy store in the next few days, but you don’t need to wait! drop me a line if you’d like.
i’ve made a cute little pair of little monsters for the “little monster” that’s currently baking inside me. i thought it would be a good chance to try out a new style of eyes. instead of the plastic eyes i normally use, i needle felted some “happy” eyes on. i’d really love to hear what people think. these particular monsters won’t be up for sale, but if i get good responses to the new style, i will probably make more like them.
this little guy has been languishing in my knitting basket, just waiting to be finished. i finally took the time today and added his sad little eyes. now he’s ready for a new home! you can find him on etsy, just click the image and it will take you there!
