Things are finally starting to settle down around here, and I’ve had time to knit again. Here are some new monsters, all of which are available at allknitup.etsy.com.

Don’t forget, you can also find little monsters at plainmabel.com. And as always, if you have something special in mind, just contact me for a custom order!
i’ve just finished up with two custom monsters, and i think they turned out great!
this is max, from Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendack:

and this is Hellboy!

and these little guys are now up at Plain Mabel:

i’m going to be taking a break until the new year. there’s an incredible amount of family gatherings planned, as well as moving to a new home. i’m probably going to be too busy to knit. there are several monsters planned already for the new year, and i may not be able to wait! new yarn is hard to resist, so we shall see.
Little Monsters have been added to the awesome Plain Mabel store today! The little guys pictured below are all available for purchase there, except for the purple one second from left. She was a custom order, and is now winging her way to her new home!

The deadline for holiday custom orders is fast approaching! Please contact me by Tuesday, December 14th if you would like anything custom made. Depending on what you would like made there may be an increase in cost for rush shipping. Drop me a line if you are interested!
just a note to let everyone know that there might not be too much being added to the site in the next few weeks, at least that is available for sale. the custom orders are coming in, and i’m going to be using most of my time on them. if you would like a custom order (monsters, or anything else!) please let me know soon, so that i have enough time to order supplies and make the item.
there has been one addition to the etsy shop, in the form of Mister Nubbles:

he’s my first non-felted little monster, and i think he turned out pretty well. made out of 100% man made materials, he’s super soft and fuzzy. he’s just not for very little kids who might pull out the plastic eyes and swallow them. without the felting process, they just aren’t as sturdy.
i thought it would be neat to show a little monster that has been felted next to itself, before felting. seeing as i don’t have a time travel machine, these monsters are the first opportunity i’ve had to do that, since they’re all almost the same. well, they’re as identical as they can be considering i don’t use a pattern, and just kind of wing it as i go.

aren’t they cute!
The first batch of cat toys sold out super quick, so I’ve made up a new batch! These are all available at the allknitup etsy shop.

I also wanted to remind everyone that now is the time to place your custom orders for the holidays! I’ve already gotten several little monster orders, and a few other things. Please remember that everything I make is hand knit, which is time consuming. The quicker you contact me the better. This allows me to order any materials that might be needed and get started right away.

cat toys! made of felted merino wool, they all have jingle bells inside, except for the red and green one. these are such fun to make!
Whew! There’s been quite an update at allknitup.etsy.com! Five new monsters (two are together in a set) have been added. Here are some thumbnails, you can click on them to be taken to their page on etsy:
Belle & Sebastian:

Neko Kitty:

Harvest Fairy:

Buzzy Bee:

I’ve also been working on a custom order of fairies, and here is the first:

If you are interested in a custom order, feel free to contact me. Now is the time to get your holiday orders in!
three little monsters are on the way! i have to say, this is one of the worst pictures i’ve taken in a long time. the colors are all off, and it’s slightly blurry. sorry about that, but the weather has been overcast and drizzly, which is about the worst weather for taking pictures. the red and green in real life are happy, deep christmas colors. the two little fairies will be sold as a set. the black kitty in the middle has a little tail too! these guys are all pre-felting, but i couldn’t wait another day to share them! they should be felted either tomorrow or saturday.
